BFD-5 Pilot Freeze Dryer

Laboratory R+D and Small Diagnostics Production Unit

The BFD-5S is a laboratory scale freeze dryer that mainly use to research and further study the freeze drying processes such as recipe development, cycle optimization, batch stability test and preparation of technology transfer.

The BFD-5S is a stoppering tray dryer that capable of drying materials in vials, microtubes and by bulk, example application includes vaccines, cytostatic, antibiotics, biologicals, hormones, active ingredients. There is 1 module shelf which contains max 6 plates that can use for raw product loading. The hydraulic cylinder is installed beneath drying chamber, bottom to top direction for vials closing under vacuum environment.

Delivery of the unit is in ready to use condition, user only need connect electric and then can put it into service. The BFD-5 is compact, stand-alone structure, all machinery that involve with the operate of it is mounted in a powder coated steel cabinet, with casters and brake and height adjustable feet.
