High Automation and Labor Saving
All FDR models are equipped with the latest FD-MEGA controller Ver 2.0 which is PLC and user-friendly HMI based. The control system allows operator set fully automatic freeze drying route, control key components and valves working through the touch screen, and real-time monitoring their work status. Which means nobody is needed to go to technical room to do manual works either in freeze drying processes or in later defrost cycle.
Easy Install and Commissioning
All the machinery that involved with the operation of the FDR freeze dryers are mounted on a steel skid, easy to transport and install. User can quickly put it into service after connect electric and compressor chilling water. And a thoroughly quality and performance test will be done before shipment.
Modular Sub-systems
Subsystems and components such as vacuum pump, refrigeration compressor, heat transfer fluid pump and heaters are placed below and behind the condenser/chamber. Each sub-system as an individual module and is linked together by the control system. This design has been proved easy to configure, install and maintain. A wide range of accessories and options can be selected to match the particular needs of customers.
Insulated Drying Chamber
The drying chamber is cylindrical, stainless steel fabricated with PUF covered for energy saving. Inner wall fine polished roughness better than 1.5um, and external wall with reinforce rings welded to enhance the chamber strength.
Fluid Based Shelves
The heat-plates in shelf module are heat transfer fluid based and are always temperature controlled. Fluid based shelves ensure the smallest temperature deviation between shelves and shelf points, and ensure consistent and high freeze dried quality in all material trays.
Coil Type Ice Condenser
The ice condenser is coils type, large capacity and high performance, it is cooled by refrigerant direct expansion. Each compressor has an independent circuit and each circuit has a coolant distributor that evenly distribute coolant to coils to guarantee the condenser temperature uniformity and enhance the vapors collect performance.
Industrial Versatile Control System
The control system is PLC and HMI based, the PLC is use to perform interlock checks, execute freeze drying processes and generate alarms; the touch screen HMI is use to monitor system working status and check drying data. The control interface has the following functions.
