Laboratory Research and Pilot Production Freeze Dryer
Vikumer’s BFD-10 pilot scale freeze dryer is the one that designed specially to help technology transfer from laboratory to commercial production. Assist researchers find out the right freeze drying recipe and optimize it, as well as documentation practice.
The BFD-10 freeze dryer is a compact unit with casters and brake. All components that involved with the operate of it has inbuilt a powder coated cabinet, Such as drying chamber, ice condenser, vacuum pump, compressor and controller. The equipment is supplied fully assembled, ready to operate deliver.
Operation of the freeze dry system is through a touch screen HMI (LYO-PILOT software), capable of automatic and semi-automatic freeze dry. The HMI has the same functions as industrial units, which include: Key components running status, recipes management, real-time curve, data collect system, users and authorization.

- Fully assembled, plug and play deliver.
- All include design. Key components include vacuum pump, compressor, heating system, drying chamber, condenser, electric box etc. inbuilt in the powder coated cabinet. With casters and height adjustable feet.
- Stainless steel fabricated chamber, condenser, shelves, trays and fittings. Surface mirror polish Ra<0.6um.
- Silicone oil based sandwich type plates, shelves heating and chilling from -50C to +70C, variance <+/-1C.
- Condenser cooling by refrigerant direct expand, lowest -85C.
- Condenser auto defrost, hot gas or electric heater.
- Pirani type vacuum sensor.
- Vacuum auto regulate function, by magnetic valve and needle valve.
- Hermetic compressors, Cascade system, air cooling method.
- SIEMENS controller system. The system function fully meet FDA regulations.
- Touch screen HMI real-time displays system working status, product, shelf, condenser temperature and vacum degree.
- Freeze drying recipes management system, can store up to 32 recipes, each recipe can program up to 36 steps.
- Real time freeze drying curve.
- DCS data collect system and downloadable.
